Dr. Helen Barrett was my guru years ago when she talked so logically about the value of our students using portfolios. Well, now it gets even better with web 2.0 within our grasp. Now is the time to pull ourselves out of the dark ages of row/factory/recite multiple choice memory testing and give our students the voice to scream out loud-look what I can do with what I have learned!
